Obituary for Harold J. "Skip" Radtke

Radtke, Harold “Skip” J.

Passed away on November 3, 2017 at the age of 71. Brother to Denita (William) Loomis and Arnold Radtke. Uncle to Tim (Julie) Radtke, Mark (Claire) Radtke, and Shana (Matei Bulgar) Loomis. Great uncle to Amelia, Sawyer, Lydia, Owen Radtke, and Natalie Bulgar. Friend to many others.

Skip was born in Milwaukee and lived his entire life in Milwaukee and Waukesha. After discharge from the US Army in 1970, he attended UW-M and began his career as a teacher. He retired from Franklin High School in 2003.

Skip was a dedicated dog trainer and field trial judge. In his family, Skip and his dogs was one word. He loved to hunt and fish, and do anything related to the outdoors. He loved to travel and camp, and he introduced his nephews, niece, and friends to the outdoors, and was an avid camper.

Visitation at the Congregation of the Great Spirit, 1000 W. Lapham, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on December 2, at 9:00 AM, funeral mass to follow at 10:00 AM. Private interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations of canned or non-perishable foods to the Siggenauk Center (part of the church) food pantry are appreciated, or memorials to the American Cancer Society.
